Nürnberg (11 March 2006)

Famous for the Nürnberger sausages and, more recently, being the rally grounds of the NSDAP (Nazi Party), Nürnberg is a city located in the region of Franconia on the river Pegnitz, still within Bavaria. It's a 3-hour ride by train on non-ICE lines. In Christmas, there is the Christkindlesmarkt which is a German version of our pasar malam. While I did not have the opportunity to visit the Nazi Party Rally Grounds or the Nürnberg Palace of Justice, where the Nuremberg Trials were held, I had to travel to one place: The Deutches Rotes Kreuz museum
