Opening Speech

Grüß Gott! It brings me great pleasure to be reporting in 12,000km away from warm, sunny Singapore. As many of you may or may not know, I'm doing my Industrial Attachment at Dornier MedTech GmbH (DMT GmbH), a manufacturer of lithotripters and medical lasers. I have been attached to Dornier MedTech Systems, which is the arm manufacturing lithotripters, for the entire duration of my internship. DMT is situated in Weßling (pronounced "Wessling"), about 34km southwest of Munich in the state of Bayern, Deutschland. My apartment is about 35min walk from the office and is situated in Gilching, a municipality in Starnberg.

Anyways, juz to show you people a glimpse of my apartment before we moved in (and mutilated everything :p):

Of course, these were taken on the first day, so plenty of snow. There's still some snow now, but things are not that bad. Spring is supposed to be coming.

Anyway, just to get some of you excited, this Airbus A380 was doing some turbulence tests at the airfield near DMT:

It flew quite a few rounds on Monday and these pics were taken by the production workers using... let's just say it involves office property :p So I shan't claim credit for it, but it's cool eh? :D
